Heat-not-Burn
Heat-Not-Burn (HNB) Technology = no smoke!
Omura's patented electric oven heats the dry herb to a temperature lower than combustion. This vaporizes the active natural ingredients in the plant (like the cannabinoids and terpenes) without burning the dry herb. No smoke!
The Series X has two heat settings and a pre-programmed "Heat Curve" that allows you to choose between maximizing flavor or vaporization.
In lab tests, Omura's Series X vaporized up to 99% of active ingredients when used over a full session without charring the herb.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Heat-Not-Burn the same as smoking?
No, Heat-Not-Burn, or vaporization, does not create smoke. Instead, the electric oven will heat the plant matter up to a temperature that is well below combustion but is high enough to cause the active ingredients to evaporate. This vapor is then inhaled through the Flowersticks allowing you to get all of the flavor and the benefits without the downsides of smoking.
Are Flowersticks included with my Series X purchase?
Yes, each Series X comes with two packs of Fill Your Own Flowersticks.
How much dry herb is consumed with each Flowerstick?
The Flowerticks are designed to hold up to 0.2 grams of ground dry herb, however you can fill it with less if you choose and you do not need to be measuring it. The Omura system is designed to consume small amounts of flower very efficiently and more frequently. This allows you to remain in better control of your experience. If you would like a stronger experience then you can have a 2nd or a 3rd Flowerstick, much as you would do when consuming alcohol.
How long does each session last?
It takes between 15-30 seconds for the device to heat-up and then each session lasts three minutes. There is a pre-programmed heat curve that the device follows during the three minute session.
Can I stop a session halfway through?
To stop a session halfway through, simply remove the Flowerstick and the Series X will turn-off automatically. To restart the session, insert the Flowerstick and the device will begin to heat-up and the three minute session will restart.
Can I reuse Flowersticks?
The Flowersticks have been designed for single-use, however we are aware that some of our customers do reuse the Flowerstics once or twice. We do not warranty their performance upon reuse.
Is there a warranty included with the Omura Series X?
Omura currently offers a one-year limited warranty, from the date of delivery of Goods to Buyer, against defects of materials and workmanship under normal use for Omura items purchased through this Website and our authorized retail partners.
